Ok I found a lot of good diys on this and everything went according to plan till the part where I have to connect a single wire to option 2 or "D". Reason I have a problem is cause it looks like previo?us owner installed the alarm and had a wire connected in that spot should I move it to option "c"? I was reading all the diagrams on the fuse box and it states that option d receives power when headlights aare on while option c gets power when car is running

Should I just swap places?

i would run the alarm to option d, sounds like it would only work then when the headlights are on, but maybe im wrong, and i would connect then fogs to a line with always on power, then put a seperate switch so you can have them on independently of the regular headlights just my .02

So far I swapped the places of the connection and everything is still working as it should. I'll keep an eye out on everything

I'll have to try it this way and see what happens I know they way I tried it the alarm still works but when I activate or deactivate the alarm my parking lights do not flash but alarm still works perfect.

I think if I do it the way you stated my fogs will have direct power and only thing that will turn them on n off would be the switch that came with kit. I'll try it and see what happens.

I'm thinking about connecting the fogs to option c but it says it protects fuse 16 and fuse 16 has to do with day time running lights which my car is not equipped with but would it still work? It says options c will always be hot while in run. Which means I'll have power running then all I need to do is hit the switch to turn my fogs on

Would I have to add a fuse to 16? Or would the connector still work without it on run?

Hey man what I did was just run an extra positive power wire from the battery terminal for my fogs. there should be a relay in line too so you don't end up leaving your lights on when the car is parked.

The way I ran the wiring is the way the diy stated it worked great I never go the chance to swap the spots on the options as I got my relay wet and my wiring burnt and I had to redo it a whole different way.
