Default OBD2 motor TDC sensor problem.

Hey I swapped in an OBD2 96 Integra ls motor. I'm getting a code 8, which is the TDC sensor. For OBD0/1 motors, the tdc is in the dizzy, but for OBD2 motors, it's next to the crank pulley. I've already bought the OBD0/1-OBD2 dizzy jumper from Rywire, so I don't want to buy another one. I'm broke as it is. Could I just reroute the two wires that usually go into the dizzy right over to the TDC sensor pigtail?

Tdc is still in the distributor on obd2 cars. The ckf is what's by the crank pulley. CRANK FLUCTUATION sensor can be bypassed by splicing it into the dizzy wiring. But, thus is irrelevant being that the ckf sensor is only used with an obd2 ecu. Even if you are obd1 the ecu will not look for the ckf. Your problem is either in the wiring or the actual distributor.

It may help if you post what code you have or what makes you believe it's the ckf

I have to recheck tonight but I believe I'm getting a code 8 and some others.

I popped out all of the pins that would go to the tdc, and put them back in. It runs now, so something must have been loose.
