i know this is a noob question to all you guys and this is my first actual post on this website..
so here im doing an ls vtec swap into my 99 ek sedan, i will be using an 5spd ex harness and i was wondering what time of distributor should i use??
a friend of mine said gsr 00-01. but i wanted to make sure just incase when i do the swap i wont messed up.

if anybody knows which distributor i should use and can i get the parts # also??

Use the distributor that matches your head. If you're using a GSR head, use a GSR dizzy. If you're using a SI head, use an SI dizzy. For simplicity, I would use a dizzy that matches your harness.

 

any of these will fit on vtec head obd2
part #'s TD81U, TD84, TD84U, TD86U, TD87U,

 

None of those will plug and play. You can use any OBD1/2 B series VTEC distributor with the appropriate adapter.
