Can you be a little clearer? Are you replacing the original 3rd brake light or putting in a new one? Are you replacing a regular bulb with LEDs? Where and what did you cut/splice exactly? Pics help a lot.

I can't understand your question clearly but , i think yours car break light is not working right.nowadays there are lots Of LED lights available in market , instead assembling by yourself take it to workshop and solve your Work.

If the a/m light is a plug-n-play, there should be no wiring issues. If you had to cut and splice wires to install this 3rd Brake light, then there is probably a problem with the wiring. Recheck your wires, connections and make sure nothing is grounding out. Check your relay/fuses also. HTH

My 93 Honda Accord has no break lights, or putting in the fuse break lights are on constantly even when the car is off. So I don't have the fuse in at all. I'm at a standstill with it probably a wiring problems. I'm ready to give up on this "Speedy" brake problems. Got a quote from a specialist they said $1200.50, another mechanic said $500 (w/o knowing the whole dealio) & another mechanic said $800, not counting the "lights" problem... The Accord needs brake pads, rotors, & calipers. Plus lights not working. I am NOT mechanically inclined (like my sister, brother, uncle or friend) to do it myself. 😩
I'm at least gonna take it to a different repair shop to get the lights fixed...
