98 hatch with a b18c1 - no spark and fuel pump kicks on if I jump main relay
I will try to keep this short and sweet...98 hatch with a b18c1 using a chasebays harness was running good, had a CEL but no issues until now. I pulled the a/c to fit my cai, put in some headlights and fogs and now my car starts but wont turn over. The lights work so I assume my issue has to do with a/c coming out (coolant and oil went everywhere, disconnected at the firewall). I have no spark, fuel pump kicks on if I jump main relay. No one tests ICM out of car in my area and I am not in position to tow it somewhere for tests. Autozone couldnt pull codes with reader when it was running and I now cant jump the connector to get a flashing code either. There is a wealth of information on this board and I have applied some of it to the car but maybe going about it wrong. Please help.
I checked the G101 ground its okay, I redid the ground on the valve cover to chassis with 4g wire. All the connections look good underhood. What is the cause for the fuel pump not working unless I jump those pins on main relay? I have a new relay and it acts the same so I have eliminated that I think. Fuses look good too. Once again the car was fine until I pulled a/c and swapped lights......
Checked the fuses again, this time with multimeter, they are good. I did however check for 12v in fuse plugs and was only getting it on 1 side of the plug. This was true for all 3 recommended fuses, shouldnt both sides have 12v?
My above post didnt make sense to me either, with the fuses IN I have 12v on both sides. I have put in a known good coil, icm and a new main relay. All my grounds are good, no spark and no fuel pump unless I jump relay. So all I got now since I am coming up short on help here, is my ECU, can I use any OBD2 ecu to test? The car has a p72 in it, my brother has a stock ek auto (not sure motor) and my buddy has an integra but its an auto also...would either or both of these work to test? Could I harm either by putting it in my car?

Okay so its not my ecu, mine will work in buddy's car. Anybody have any insight??? Basically I pulled out the a/c and now the car has no fuel or spark and fuses/grounds are good. Main relay is new and only functions with a jumper. Internals in dizzy are new also. Out of everyone somebody has to have an idea.......
well my fuel pump magically primes like it should. found out how to pull codes off chasebays, had a eld overload and o2 sensor. still have no spark, anyone got any ideas? dont have a bunch of people here with cars I can just go swapping known good parts off of and throwing money isnt helping issue.
well given all the time testing everything, it ended up being the dizzy after all. this solved the starting issue but now the car doesnt cut off when key is removed. well sometimes it does and other times takes up to 30 sec to stop. any ideas? i pulled ignition harnesses and car doesnt stop, pulling main relay or fi e/m fuse kills it.
