hi ppl ...I have recently purchased a DC5 and all of a sudden the hand brake light on the dash went on and stayed on even when I put down the hand break lever. I checked the switch and also the master cylinder reservoir and all seems ok !

the funny part is that the central locking also stopped working when this fault came up.

can some one enlighten me if this symptom is related and is there a way to fix these 2 problmes ?

 

could check the connection under the plastic, and on my 97 civic the grip for the hand brake slid back and th button worked again
