blink code 4 on a ef hatch
I have a blink code 4. I have replaced the dizzy with a new. Car starts right up and and runs great 5 sec later it kicks the engine light runs ruff and then smooths out. I play with the dizzy timing and it clears up the idle a bit. The connectors are all good a the wires to the dizzy are not broken . I'm stumped. Is their another position sensor ? Is the car okay to drive a good distance like this? When I short out the timing connector the car doesn't bog out a 3 k it hits the rev limiter.

Check this thread, I posted up the Factory Service Manual on how to troubleshoot code 4.
Get a multimeter and verify that you are getting the correct readings back to the ECU.
You will need to check the wires going into the ECU. I would start with the second photo, as that is pretty much where you are in your troubleshooting.
