My mirrors have the all too common problem of being loose and folding in while driving. I searched but could not find any real fixes. Just screws put through the plastic and whatnot. Does anyone know of a better less ghetto way to fix these?

Yes...source a different set and buy them. Craigslist, junkyard, ebay....

 

Ok, so is there now way to fix them? Thinking about putting on the power ones and just moving them by hand since the power ones don't seem to have this problem.

 

Mirrors typically don't work very well after they break... just the nature of the beast it seems. There's no fix; get a replacement set. They're cheap.

If you have a hard time finding eg mirrors, 96-00 mirrors bolt on as well. Trying to fing myself a set cause imo they look better on our eg's. Kinda like a larger spoon mirror.
