Default will borrin the intake man. and new throttle body run too lean?

so far i have aem cai, cat back exhaust (no resonators),headers, underdrive pulleys,etc... I was wondering if getting a new throttle body and borring out the intake manifold make my engine run too lean causing me too somehow deliver more fuel to the engine to compensate. I have a g6 accord. any ideas?

Well, maybe. More airflow into the engine will make the ecu compensate with a bit more fuel...but you talk about it like it would be a bad thing for it to do this(use more fuel) that is afterall how the engine creates more power... if you are worried about fuel, then why all the preformance parts?? kind of contradictory...no offence intended

cheers

IT really depends on how good a job you did with your intake manifold. If you generate too much airflow into the engine, then get a better fuel system to compensate, and get more power.

Chances are, you will not create enough airflow to make the stock fuel system incapable of delivering enough fuel... Only way to find out is to get it measured.

By the way, are you talking about boreing your intake runners? Be careful because it is a very tricky proposition, you may end up losing air flow into your cylinders by just making it bigger...

thanks for responding i have a 4 cyl.. what i wanted to do was just get a t/b with a larger diameter inlet and have the intake man. bored to the same dimensions. i was planning on borring this myself but getting a jg engine t/b. since i have a beater to drive to work while i do this, i can take my time with the borring process.

how would you deliver more fuel to the engine. i don't know much about this. i'm guessing a bigger fuel rail?

You should have no worries. The F and H series hondas run plenty rich to accomodate anything youll gain in the porting process.

If youre worried. A fuel pressure regulator can give you more fuel throughout the rpm band and is relatively simple to install.

A rail will do nothing for you and bigger injectors wont be necessary unless your port matching your turbo manifold
