Default New owner of a 2007 Dx

Hey
Figured I needed a reliable daily driver away from my Teg so I bought a 2007 Dx, 4 door standard. Previous owner added a factory spoiler and upgraded to the five star wheels that come on this gen of civic.
I went to a u pick yesterday and got a armrest to cover the big hole in the center console, best upgrade yet. Lol. I,also took the USB connection and harness up as far as the plug by the shifter, and the aux plug and cut a few inches back on that harness.
I had my center console out and it looks like my car wasn't wired plug and play to add the USB. There is a white plug that has nothing attached to it that i seen mentioned in the diy but it don't fit. Figured I might of found an easy way of doing this, guess not. I never looked to see if the car is prewired for the aux plug yet.
Also my car being a 2007 the previous owner had stains on the back seat that shape out kids car seats. So at the u pick I took out a set of Black seats from another civic to replace the stained light colored seats. Question is will 60/40 folding rear seats fit my car. My all folds at once. I know the size is the same, but there was a bracket that I can't feel under my seat that joined the split seats. It was welded to the car at u pick. Once it stops raining I'll have to check mine.

Feel free to add any help, I'll update with any answers I find. Thxs.

Hmmm, car at u pick had a sunroof, I wonder if mine is wired for one. Lol

Alright folks. I have some advice to put 60/40 split in your car. You are gonna need to drill out the spot welds on the bracket that goes between the 60/40. Single fold seats don't have this bracket. Also the panel in the back window would of been nice to take but I forgot it. You have to cut a hole in it for the latch on the pass. seat. Install the handle and cable for the release and your done. Everything else fits just like the other seat.

I had another look at the Civic in the scrap yard. The USB wiring runs over to a module under the pass seat which is not under the seat in the Dx, nor the plug and wires don't exist in the harness. The wiring then goes back towards the driver seat and joins into the harness with all the other wire and loops up to the dash. So separating the wires would of been a torture and I didn't have the time.
I took the module and cut the clip. I pulled out the stereo and the car with USB has the same plug and color wires as the module and the Dx doesn't so I figure I'm gonna try plugging the module in directly to the deck. Worst case I need a new deck. Scrap yard is full of them. Any suggestions?

K, plugging the module into the right plug on the back of the deck done nothing. Guessing the deck wasn't set up for aux although it's wrote on the cd/aux button. Or maybe the harness goes somewhere else. The colors matched up.

As for the aux I haven't tried yet. The harness under the shifter has 6 wires. The aux plug from the scrapyard has 5. The wires match up but the one missing from the aux is black. I might try to wire it up after supper.

Been awhile. For anyone wanting aux plug just take one from another Honda and wire it in to the plug under the shifter assembly. Leave out the extra wire. Aux works best kind then.

Default 07 Dx progress

Got bored and matte black plastic dipped my grill. Flame me if you want, I had a red RS badge kicking around and decided to put it in the grill. Went and got my windows blacked out. Ordered a cheap cold air intake. Installed a bnib Old school Bosal muffler. Car sounds a little louder than stock is all. Next step,I think is plastic dip the entire car matte black and lower it a little.
