Default FIA Control Valve

So I see this in the intake manifold of the f23 I swapped. The FIA Control Valve. Apparently some F22B1's have it too. But mine doesnt. Is there a reason to why some cars have it and some dont? Would it be beneficial to put one in my car if I could?

The Fuel injector air control system was only used on the OBD1 94-95 F22B1 engine. Guess it took Honda a couple of years to figure out how to get it to work with the OBD2 PGM-FI system. Maybe why it's not on the OBD2 F22B1. As for adding it to your car. You would need an ECU that has the FIA control circuit. Ether the OBD1 F22B1 or the OBD2 F23A1.

As for whether or not it would be beneficial depends on if you are looking for fuel economy or not. It's not what I would consider a power adder.

Well I'm always looking for better fuel economy too. But I think it wouldnt work out if I used an F23 ECU. And I dont wanna switch to OBD1 anymore. So I guess I'm stuck there. Thanks though.
