Default jdm itr ecu ?

I did a search and didn't find anything. I bought a JDM ITR ecu. The ecu number is:

37820-P73-003
967-115487

Is there a way to tell what year ITR this ecu came from by using that number?

I bought it on ebay.
The pictures are here:

They claim its 99 spec. I wanted to verify that.

BTW, what are the differences between the different year itr ecu's? (96 spec, 98 spec)

For the price you can't complain.

It's a 96spec ECU

You might live in Japan, but your information sure doesn't reflect it. What's up?

It's a ECU off a 96 JDM ITR. Certainly not "96-98", because 98+ spec ECU have a different program.

Mario for your information, I had a 96 spec ecu on my 98 spec for a year and a half before I went turbo...It actually got better 1/4 times than the ecu it came with. the only thing that was changed on the ecu were the fuel maps and the vtec engagement point....

This was slightly reprogrammed by a company called Auto-aqu for optimum performance...the VTEC was set to 4800rpms, which made the car really aggressive.

It's an 96spec ITR
37820-P73-003
967-115487

For 98+, it should be
37820-P73-023
967-XXXXXX
