I think I am running rich, when I get on the gas hard some black smoke will come out of my exhaust initially and then goes away after the initial punch. The inside of my muffler is pure black. How do I adjust it so it isnt so rich? or is something else the problem?

 

check your plugs first

 

check to see if they are black, red/brown, white???
Black=rich
white=lean
red/brown=good/normal
if I am not mistaken

 

alright the plugs are black, now what?
