Default VTEC oil pressure sensor?

What is the green sensor just behind the oil filter?

Can I leave the sensor here?

Its the OEM oil pressure sensor, looks like that motor has a massive aftermarket pressure sensor to the left of the oil filter(gold piece). That's where the oem sensor went. you're running an oil filter sandwich plate that is used to add oil pressure ports to send oil to vtec heads if ls/b20 block, or sending oil to turbo.

It is a B18C1 block and yes I use a sandwich plate only for the OEM oil pressure.
I use a Oil feed adapter from B&R fiting for the 'massive" (lol) aftermaket sensor for a gauge and the Turbo oil feed

Can I do different?

i would not mount that aftermarket pressure sensor on the block. that's a disaster waiting to happen.

you need to mount the gold pressure sensor as a remote unit in the firewall to prevent breakage of the unit by weight or damage the trhead. And the green sensor is the stock oil warning light.

The Gold Pressure Sensor is not very heavy.
I bought it around $80 with the gauge.
