Default Help with my parts list for my em1 . So i can buy

Well long story short my em1 is burning a lil oil so i wanna fix it in the winter. I know my piston rings are The cause i did a leak down test to confirm it. I want to know what i will need to buy to get it done right. I would go to a shop but i think they will try to add extra stuff just to make me spend more money. Ps i want to get some good quality parts thanks
Oh yea the motor i have is a b18c .

I would first start with stripping the block down and taking it to a machine shop to make sure the cylinders wont need to be bored over. Then from there it all depends on how much horsepower you want to make, if you just want something simple then just go with a re-ring kit(providing it wont need bored). Or if you want power decide if you want turbo or n/a.

First off, you DO want to take your block to a machine shop and have them re-hone it, as well as make sure that it's all straight and true.

OEM Honda or Hastings should be your ring mfg. You should also replace your main and crank bearings (OEM Honda or ACL), and your seals (OEM Honda). While you have everything apart, go ahead and replace the timing belt (OEM Honda or Gates), and your water pump (OEM Honda).
