I am considering going LS/turbo just because I heard that I can get the engine pretty cheap and then have the option of putting a turbo on it. What do I need to know before doing this setup. What kind of LS engine should I get? I have a 94 civic si hatch.

 

There are only 2 different ls motors, B18A and the B18B. Both work equally well for turbo but the B18B will most likely have less mileage because they are newer, if that is important to you. Just do everything right the first time and you shouldnt have to many problems. My friends Ls/turbo ran a 13.6 at like 6psi and it wasnt tuned. This setup has potential to be very quick with tons of torque.
