defeats the purpose of a fully functional cage if its cut and welded again...basically gonna be in a car for show cause that **** aint gonna pass inspection for beans...lol

What's wrong with cutting out the old welds on the cage and welding it back the same spot in the new car? That's how it was put it to begin with....

whats wrong is that the cage wont fit correctly since the welds/piping has to be cut which means that each "cut" spot would be off by centimeters. That equals to more weld being caked on and those welded parts being weaker...indeed that is how its put in there to begin with but the beginning consisted of careful measurements and perfect fitment. You cant do that second time around...

nothing against the OP but i think it would be more beneficial for you to find someone to trade shells with which will cause you less of a headache...

Exactly... best to just sell the shell.

FYI and you might want to post this too.
Who built the cage? 1320? I dont know who that is... more detail would help.
Better pics, lift that hatch up and start snapping.
What spec did you build it to? NASA, SCCA, Drag?
Gauge of tube you used. Chromolly isnt going to help if you used the wrong gauge.

You look like you have something pretty good here so to get this thing sold you should show it all and tell all.

post some more pics of the car, more pics of the cage.
contact the 1320 guys and ask them what gauge tube they used.

Question?? Are there any small drill holes in the tubing, primarilly on the back part of the cage?
The more info you can give, the more money in your pocket?
