242 HP All-motor Type R
Damn just reading this new Turbo featuring a 242 hp type-R. I thought it was hard gettin over 200 but with it's 13.3:1 compression, quad throttle bodies, and custom tunable HyTech header, Toda cams, and a fully built motor anything's possible.
I remember some guy saying "im buying this type-r because i wont have to modify
it because it has eveerything i want already done to it"....... now here we are
going into motor #9 next week.....

Well I have a question since I don't have a ITR I don't know about them. Do all these mods steal low end and put it up top? I'm sure the car's great in VTEC but driving around town......?
well, i make more wheel torque at 3500 than a stock itr makes peak at the crank
and by 5500 im pretty much making more wheel torque than an h22a does at
the crank stock and it is sustained until about 7500

242hp is allright, nothing too impressive
however, 242WHEELhp is impressive
there are a couple daily drivers with mid 240s at the wheels around. obviously not on pump gas but you get the picture
I've heard food stories about lip's car... never seen it though
