With all this talk about everyone throwing down meets, where do we stand. I think we need to show H-T what Texas has to offer. Plus I dont see many eg/eh/s here in San Antonio. Plus this weekend the shop I work at is hosting the NOPI Nationals Oct19-20. I will once again show my expertise in judging the riciest cars known to man. The NOPI show in June had one JDM ek show up. I want to see more! I am judging mild/wild Honda classes. Look me up....I need ideas to hold this meet......

Last TX meet was in Dallas August 9-11. Previous to that was Houston in June. TX meets are odd, some drink, some don't, some are underage, some smoke bud, some can't stand it. Some people want to do one thing while others want to do something else. It's hard to find a median for everyone...

i'm from san marcos,tx.

if you want to meet just to look at cars and talk, then go ahead and have it in houston or where ever, but if you want to meet and race, come to san marcos. we have races every saturday night. if you have a fast *** import, come on down and whoop some of the v8's down here. there's also other imports out here racing as well. usually on a regular saturday night, we'll have anywhere from 20-30 cars show up and they just all get it on. it all starts about 10:30 pm and goes on unitl everybody is ready to stop. sometimes we are all out until 2 in the morning. we have austin peeps coming down, san antonio peeps coming down, and new braunfles peeps coming down off and on. so if any of you texas peeps are up for some races, come on down, we got some races for ya.

me and my boys went out to san marcos a couple of weeks ago and cleaned house. you might remember a tangelo orange hatch with mugen knockoffs, then there was a brownish gold hatch, and a couple of GST's. lets say san antonio owns you. jus kidding,....its all fun anyways. be CAREFUL guys, to many **** ups on the road!!!!!!1

 

I think it would be nice to have a San Antonio meet for once. So far there have been three Texas meets this year. One was back on June 3rd in Houston, the other was in July in Dallas(Garland), lets have one in San Antonio this time. I would be up for one around Spring Break or even around June. So just think about what you would like to organize and post it up in the Members Forum and then do a search for all Texas, etc... members and IM all of them an invitation. Thats what some of us do when we want a meet for Houston members..so try that.

There are not a lot of members on it yet since it was just created recently, but it would be a good way to get the word out.

Yeah, not to dog San Marcos but.... last time some friends and I drove in from Austin we were sorely disappointed. Not saying it is like that everyweek, but I wouldnt want a bunch of guys to drive in from Dallas or H-Town to be disappointed like I was. There were some fast domestics and a couple of WRX's but thats bout it.

As far as a Texas meet, I'm down. I would like to meet some of the people on here, I would recommend Austin since it seems to be just about the same distance from Dallas-Austin and Houston-Austin, but it looks like there are more DFW and H-town people than central texas guys. If weather permits I may see some people at NOPI tomorrow.

im from keller texas...its near DFW...but, im 16 and am amidst the teenager vs. parent bull$hit right now...they say no mods till my car is paid for...

..ill show up for the stock show?...
