i read the hp+ can wear rotors fast also

but after a search this seemed like the majority of what is used

i've always used bendix but lately the fade when hot is annoying me

just for dd, but i do drive like a nut

as long as it says it's genuine, is ebay ok for pads and brembo blanks?

if not where?

I would say it depends on your usage with the vehicle? Are you looking for a high performance brake pad?

I usually go with the ceramic Posi-Quiet. They are very low dust.
If I find a good deal, I get the ceramic Akebonos...I love those

Hawks are like most about the events and to verify the EVO. However, the blocks in the Japanese American car? Not better look for something more appropriate?

I've used, Axxis Ultimates, Axxis Deluxe, Hawk HPS, Posi Quiet Ceramic and Stoptech Performance brake pad.

Axxis Ultimates - initial bite is pretty aggressive when heated, dust is on the higher side. After 1 day of driving, rims will be dirty

Axxis Deluxe - initial bite is so-so, okay for the street, but very low dust.

Hawk HPS - these are similar to the axxis deluxe, but are higher in dust.

Posi Quiet Ceramic - have less initial bite then the Axxis Deluxe and are very low dust.

Stoptech Performance brake pads - This is probably one of the best that I've used, they will dust a lot (similar to the Axxis Ultimates) but the brake pedal is very linear. Works well on the track too.

@ 38.00 can you really complain?

Ive used EBC green and yellow on my crx and crv...they are both in the trash now after only a few months. I replaced them with ceramic pads, I believe thermo quiet. The EBC's make so much dust that i would wipe my wheels off when i got to work and then again when I got home. They also ruined my CRV front rotors within 3 months. The yellow pads had chunks fall off the corners making the brake surface area decrease by almost half and cutting deep, 1/16" grooves into the back sides of my rotors.

I have also used hawk pads. They performed well but were very dusty and didnt last long on a DD.

My 2 cents... Ill never use EBC anything every again, Ill stick with the ceramics I bought from Rockauto and keep my wheels dust free. Unless you race your car all the time, i wouldnt bother with high performance pads

I agree with the EBC. I had to mine a couple of months ago, they were EBC Green Stuff. I have them on front and back and my white wheels are covered in dust.

I wont buy them again. My wheels are white and 2 days later its back to gray/black. Hawk is going to be my next choice, hopefully the dust isnt remotely close to this.

Go ceramic if you want to stop any dust

Semi metallic/ Ceramic mixes will still cause dust
