Default 1994 Civic CX - compatible seats?

Hi:

We own and love a couple of Civics....the seats in my daughter's `94 Civic CX are shot and need to be replaced.

My question....will newer seats be a bolt-in replacement, or do we bolt the old rails on the newer seats, or does it just not work?

I'm looking at some 2002 seats for cheap that are in good condition...

Thanks...

Ben

Not all of them do. I have sets in both of my hatches. One set all four bolt in, the other one only three do. But I think on the other set I just need a longer bolt for one seat. I was just going to swap them back over to EG rails eventually.

The ones that bolted in perfectly were a dark pattern. The ones that had trouble were a lighter blue. Both out of GSRs. Don't know if 94-97 and 98-01 seats are slightly different. Pretty sure they did since either 98-01 or 00-01 for sure, had different carpet than 94-97.

4bfox - If you can find them, a set of Honda Del Sol seats will also bolt right in.

^ You're almost correct here, but you do not need to swap your rails. All 94-01 Integra seats will fit into all 92-95 Civic chassis with no modifications.

If all 4 bolts go in, that means you have a set of seats from a 2 door Integra. If only 3 bolts go in, that means you have a set of seats from a 4 door Integra. Both seats and rails work, but you need the longer rear bolt from the 4 door Integra to fit correctly in your EG. They will fit perfectly if you have it. (I am speaking from experience)

All 94-97 and 98-01 front seats are the same. They only differ in color and materials (leather, suede or cloth, depending on model). All 94-01 Integra rails are the same, and only differ if they are from a 2 door or 4 door model. 4 door seat rails will also sit a little higher than the 2 door seat rails. Hope this helps.
