New Honda MTF bottle?
Hello,
I have just bought MTF in Florida and it looks like there is a new bottle. Is it true or I've bought a fake one? There is no information about "Idemitsu company"
Have you already seen such bottles?

It's a fluid formulated for what HONDA wants. It may not necessarily be a fluid formulated for what YOU want. That's something you'll have to determine.

The Redline shockproof (Lightweight stuff) Works very well. It has alot of paraffin in it (wax) to keep it from slinging off gears and whatnot, and also lends to absorbing shock. Its a pain in the *** to clean up LOL. BUT, It works GREAT in Straightcut gearsets. Even syncroed ones.
Ive been using it for years, and was apprehensive at first worried about its effects on bearings and synchro operation due to its fluidity when cold (Which really isnt all that bad, just notable "different" than a 1030 type)... But by the time the motor is warmed up that **** has the viscocity or a 10-30. I have never had any issue with it at all.
I monitor bearings, synchros and teeth faces on inspections. It works great but is overkill in anything short of a straightcut, Dog or aftermarket gearset. I dont like the Honduh MTF, Id just assume put a good synthetic 10-30 in my OEM geared boxes. Im partial to RP. Its ALWAYS worked well for me in ANYTHING I put it in.
I want to try the Torco stuff out, but cant get it when I need it. Mitch is using it now, he says its "Thinner" than the LWSP ****. Well see. My box will be glued to gether later tonight. If I get off my *** and make it to speedfactory tomorrow maybe ill pick some up and run it instead.
As far as wear and protection the LWSP is hard to beat. And it really DOES wortk great in Synchroed boxes despite what some will tell you.

I have been shown the light, TORCO RTF IS THE MOTHERFUCKING TRUTH!!!!
I wont ever use anything else again. Cant believe the box (Saenz straightcuts, syncroed wth Carbon syncros) is as quiet as it is with it as "Thin" as it is, but wow. The box shifts smoother and quicker than it ever has. LIke seriously, smoother and effortlessly. Im amazed. Seriously.
Had to dissasemble it after putting it together due to a problem with a shift fork.. SO got to see how it behaved compared to the shoock proof as far as clean up etc too.
SO SO nice, like draining a 10-30... Wiped clean t9 the touch easily with no brake clean (avg need 3 or so to clean up the LWSP) and then.... The money maker. I just randomly spun the diff while the bell-housing was face down taking out the stacks... It kept going and going and going. The lubricity of this **** is AMAZING. I am impressed. After the fork was replaced put it back togethter and drove it..
Again, I CANNOT say enough with how smooth the fluid makes the box. IM sold. It is THE answer.
Period.
