Default transmission torque conver bolts info HELP

got a 99 civic HX i bought with no transmission... also missing ALL off the bolts to install one. so i went out and bought a new CVT trans... question is, is there a certain style of bolt i need to use to mate the torque converter with the flexplate? as in, like certain bolt head style as to not stick out too far or throw it off balance?? i dont want to go to Lowe's and get some and install the trans to find out its going to throw it out of balance or something... any info is appreciated thanks!
