Lifespan of '94 Accord?
I have a '94 Accord that is at about 199,500 miles. I've replaced the timing belt and get routine oil changes. I was just wondering if someone could give some input as to how many miles the '94 Accords tend to hold up for?
The reason I ask is because I am planning on getting a new car (most likely 2010 ACcord Coupe) but I am trying to gauge whether or not I can just roll along with my current Accord and not have to worry about getting a new car.
Thanks!

As long as you check the oil every gas fill up you should be fine. Just make sure it has plenty of oil in it. And check the other fluid levels too: coolant, transmission fluid, pw steering, brake fluid, ect. Your car should last forever if properly maintained.
The 90-97 2.2 Accords cars are fairly straight forward, cheap, and easy to work on. There are no issues or weak spots on these cars. When parts wear out replace them, that's all. Keep up on all fluid changes and don't abuse the car and it will be fine.
Accords can go as long as you take care of them. The motors of these year Accords are bullet proof if you do the maintenance like scheduled. The first F22B1 motor that died in my '94 Accord was at 250K. Then did another B1 swap and later went H22.

Awesome, thank you all for the responses. I replaced the timing belt approx. 15K miles ago. Reason why I've been thinking about replacing the Accord entirely is cuz I had a torn axle shaft (replaced for approx $250 total) and had a distributor leak (fixed for cheap) and had a valve cover gasket leak + other leaks ($200ish total for all of the leak patches) that Ive taken care of recently and I'm beginning to wonder if I should keep investing in fixes in my '94 accord at this point since i'm assuming its max resale value atm is $1K-1.5K...like, how much more money should I invest in it, you know? Or should i just get a newer Accord(?) I guess if the fixes/repairs start getting more expensive, i'll look intp getting a newer car...
However, it's comforting to read that I can still keep my '94 Accord for a bit longer. Im very attached to it!

newer car repairs are more expensive then the 90's cars y you ask? because newer cars have more sensors, hardly any room to work on, parts are more expensive, some require SPECIAL tools just to diagnosis it. 200 for fixings seals leaks is not bad at all. with all that replaced you shouldn't see leaks for another 100k miles or so maybe even longer. if you lack in oil changes there's a bigger chance the seals will leak again. you should look into changing the cam seals and rear main seal if possible do the front main seals again and you won't ever have leaks IF DONE PROFESSIONALLY and not some backyard mechanic that just wants you to take your car back and hand him the money. oh don't forget your pcv valve the number one cause of seal leaks all over the engine
