Icon2 aftermarket tach instalation

I have a 01 accord coupe 3.0 vtec that i want to install a 5" fuze tach in it!!!
in the distructions, which is very vague- says that i need to find the performance controll which is located on passenger side under center console under the a/c and all that! but i looked it up and the wire which is a blue wire that has a code which i cant remember off the top of my head is also plugged into srs aka airbags and says any tampering could set them off, does anyone know a quick and easy way to bypass or get buy any of this... i will repost when i have all the info in front of me but wanted to get this out there!
if you can help thanx if not oh well i guess right... 200$ waste lol

i have figured out my installation problems for my faze tach.. i removed my dash insert, pulled the cluster, disconnected my tach side plug after figureing out that it is blue wire with one grey dot!!!cut this wire and coonect to green wire of tach!!!
then found a power that comes on accesary, this will be my power for the tach, i used a yellow wire with one grey dot..( make sure to use a test light)!!!!!! grounded the tach and lighting power source to bolt on inside of fuse pannel on driver side, then for the power source for lighting of the tach i found the lighting for cluster, by plugging it back in and dimming and brighting the lights check with test light!!! after you have found it, mind you there are two circuts for this line, one that dimms it one that brightens it i picked opposite( when i dimm the lights my tach brightens, when i brighten my lights my tach dims) this is what I chose so make sure you got the side you want!!
i used all but connecters and taped them afterwards. running the wires in the crack were the pillar and dash meet, and ran lighting power wire just right behind dash insert for cluster, with a semi-clean look!!!
And it works toriffic! i will post pictures on a later date!!! for anyone that wants to do this conversion this is the easiest solution!!!!! others want you to disconnect airbags and a bunch of other stiupid ****, dont bother with that as long as you double check wires before you cut , you will be fine
thanx
