I was browsing around in the ATF section at the autoparts store a few days ago and happened to read the back of a quart of Royal Purple. It claims to be compatible with Dexron II/III transmissions, along with pretty much anything else with four wheels. I generally use Honda ATF or Valvoline Max Life Dexron III or sometimes even Supertech Dexron III if money is tight.

Does anyone here have any personal experience with the Royal Purple ATF? All their other stuff (oil, filters, etc.) seems to be premium to the point of overkill. Just wondering if the RP ATF is worth the $15 per quart price tag.

 

To me personally, Royal purple is like JDM parts, same function as cheaper stuff but its "name brand" so u pay more....
