I had picked up an AT 2000 civic ex with a knock for $400...
Bought a parts car for about the same... the parts car was a MT with a lot less miles on it, so I decided to swap the drivetrain into my AT vehicle..

everything has gone just fine untill this problem.....

there's a starter interlock switch on my clutch pedal that wont allow the vehicle to start...

I ripped apart my MT shell and found the sensor I needed, but it has about 5 wires running through it... none of which are part of my AT harness...

Can anybody help with where these wires might lead to ? or a possibly recommend a method to override??

I would rather fix this the correct way.. I just can't seem to find any other threads or even any wire diagrams...

when i did my swap i left everything for the auto under the shifter cover and made the car think its in neural and left the clutch safety switch off

 

On my 1993, I just disconnected the interlock box under the dash. And I had to solder two thick, black wires together, but I think those were for the neutral safety switch... The rest of the wires are for the shifter lights, cruise control, cruise cancel, etc. Try that first, connecting the neutral safety switch wires together (wire it correctly after if you don't already have it that way). And disconnect the interlock box.

 

I'm basicallly asking for help on a 99-00 model.... wiring issue.... complete starter interlock install.... from an at -> mt

 

definitly the worst part of this swap omg ( pulls hair )
