i had a honorably misfire it sounded like i was driving with a blown up motor i put new plugs and wires in it and it still has a small miss any ideas
its a 91 hatch with a 1.5 d15b1 dpfi

 

Did you inspect the cap and rotor?

 

i havens taken them apart ran out of daylight but i didnt notice any cracks in the cap will be checking that tomorrow

 

Also clean the contact points between the cap and rotor.

 

will do that also me and my buddy's owned hondas all threw high school and never had this problem but could the coil be bad inside the dizzy

 

so i cleaned the contacts on the cap and the rotor and still have a small miss also when i took the cap off i found a small amount of oil on the bottom of the cap could that be my problem and where would it come from

 

There an oil seal inside the distributor. Replacing it will fix the oil leak and possibly also the misfire.

 

ok thanks ill have to find a diagram so i can fix it or i might just get a new dizzy
