Default Cluster hactch light stuck on?

Just started doing this the hatch is closed but stays on any ideas? Just to clear up any confusion, this is not the light in the hatch bay it is the light on the gauge cluster.

problem was at the plug near the fuse box where the trunk trigger wire is located it is a green with black stripe wire the male pin grounded out on another wire I believe it to be the door trigger. Hope that helps.
