1) Why you no replace head gasket then, bic boi?

2) Reuse gen 1 intake manifold, distributor, various sensors, various hard parts, and ecu.

3) Mad tyte yo?

4) No.

5) Orly?

6) Reusing your current ecu will keep it like that.

I'm pretty sure VTEC only kicks in at one RPM, not three. That would be interesting lol.

Just reuse you B16A1 distributor, injectors and wiring. You might need to swap a few sensors but if you keep it OBD0 you will have no problems. The vtec is controlled by the computer. The vtec itself is identical on both engines. The only difference is rpm activation and computer mapping. Your original ecu computer should engage between 4800-5200rpm if I remember correctly. The two engines are almost identical with the exception of newer OBD sensors and minor things like valve springs ect.

yes rhd crx. yes but i want keep the p30 manifold as it's alot beter than the a1 manifold.

becouse it's a club car and dont want to run the risk of running a bearing after replaceing becouse water got in to the oil.

and yes so tight yo/

and really? i fort it was alot difreent engagment as the cam profile's are more agressive?

ryd to the max, no it has 3 stages.

i have researcherd and came across the info. i just wanted some first hand knowledge about the swap.

HA! why no one say injector's!!! that's the main part that will not work aprt from the other obvious one's.

why the hate guy's. yess could have said the op beter but was in a rush

Haha, no hate, man. Honestly, I doubt you'll feel any difference on the butt dyno between those intake manifolds. I'd reuse your harness too. I know with my obd0 pr3 ecu, vtec would engage at 5200 under light throttle and 4400 at wot.

it's had a full wire tuck wen it got changed from duel carb to injection so unless i want to cut and make a new harness the old one will stay comeing from the bottem midlle of the fire wall.

as for the manifold. it wouldnt be noticeable at all driving wise. but if i can push a hp or two up i will also the bragging right's haha p30>pr3

thats what i mean! ive never been in or drivn a gen one b16a. my 92 xsi engaged at 58750ish ha and same with the eg9 i got this motor out off.
but now with this ecu the pw0 or pr3 cant remember off the top which is in the crx will be engageing at 5200? im geting the ecu chiped an remaped after installment of said engine

just would like to get fact's and know what im working with.

hell, mayb it would better leaveing it with earllyer engagment?

also IS IT A MUST that i get my my cpu chipd? as for the more agressive cam's and the slightly higher compression ratio?

thank's ash
