So I was trying to sell my 4th gen prelude because I have had nothing but problems with it, not mechanically but flat tires, break ins and so on. I decided I'm going to change my luck and build this car into the 4th Gen I have always wanted. I set up a Facebook page to track the progress you guys can like the page if you want to keep and eye out. I will also update this page frequently.
Stay tuned.

My plans are going to change but as of now I want to just make the body perfect, get a clean suspension set-up, and possibly forced induction. I use to be really into 1/4 mile when I had my GSR, I would like to get into road racing with the lude.

Dunno what you're Goin on about the headlights for, my bumper is off in less than ten minutes... Headlights are 4 or 5 bolts each... Not that hard.
Gl with the build though. I too am in the middle of one but won't be starting a thread till its almost done... Plans always change...

I didnt no that you had to remove the bumper and the support 1st to remove headlights. once I actually searched for how to it was extremely simple.
Good luck with your build bro, I was gonna wait until mine was nearly finished to post however i thought it would be cool for me to have a record and timeline to look back at.

thanks Blackcatt, Im trying its hard since I started a new job this week. I make a little progress each day and its getting there. I laid down the primer on the whole car today. I found a few more minor dings, so its minor bondo time. I will post a before and after pic tomorrow.
God do I hate body work lol. I've painted 2 preludes in the last 2 years (one each summer) and I can go a while without doing it again :p Should look good when you are done though.

Here is a quick update.
Car has been blocked, I will block it one more time before I paint it. I will probably pull the windows out when I paint.

Thanks Fred,
I'm going to put the standard lights back in, The only thing Im not sure about is the color. I really wanna paint it championship white, but I would also like to paint it Blue. Im not sure what blue yet.

first off, looks good coming together real well. lol second i noticed the car seat how do you like that with those small back seats? i was dating a girl with a 2 year old it was such a pain getting him in and out of the back. He loved my car though always tell his mom "i wanna ride in the racecar" lol

Berg, Thanks man.... as for the car seat, it makes things interesting. Luckily my wife is super short so she can scoot up all the way basically. When she is not in the car I normally just lean the seat forward and leave room so I can see my mirror lol
Might want to pull the front windshield surround, as water gets trapped in the upper corners there, and can create rust where you can't see. easiest time to take care of it would be right now!
