Default AC drain line

I know this has been posted before (here and many other places), but I'm absolutely stumped. I am looking for the AC drain line on a 2002 Civic LX sedan. I have been having water leaking onto the floor from under the glove box, and I am nearly certain the drain line is clogged. However, everywhere I read tells me the drain line is right under the glove box, in front of the floor mat. It should be obvious, right? I can't find it. Can anyone help? I appreciate it.

There's really no drain line to speak of. The only lines in that area are the inlet and outlet lines for the heater core. You probably need a new heater core. Don't have a heart attack when the mechanic quotes a price to fix it, it's very time intensive.

shouldn't it just be a small hose near the bottom of the evaporator that goes out the firewall to let built up water condensation drip to the ground?

how does that have anything to do with the heater core?

I just replaced the heater core in mine last winter and I saw no drain line. The only other thing it could be would be a clogged sunroof drain. Seeing as it's an LX and has no sunroof then it's a busted heater core.

For those who don't know, you have to take the entire dash and air box out to replace the heater core.

If it doesn't smell like coolant, and it only happens when you're using the air conditioning, it's probably just condensation dripping from the evaporator.

It definitely just smells (and feels, looks, etc) like water. Since it's cooled off for the last few days, and I stopped using the AC, the drip has stopped completely. I assume it will start back up once I turn the AC back on. I'd really like to sort it out myself, if I can figure out how.

It's just condensation.

Imagine a cold beverage on a hot day. Notice the condensation which beads up on the glass? Same thing, only more of it.

Not much you can do about that.

I have assumed it was condensation, but that doesn't solve the problem. There was never a drip before, and now it might dump a cup of water over the course of a couple minutes. This isn't normal; there is a problem. I just need to figure out how to fix it.
