My brain is fried on this and i have searched and searched and before you go bashing or not believing me, I can assure i have triple checked this. engine in my eg coupe(swapped obviously) is a B16A8, no typo. B16A8. I am wanting to know what this came out of. im thinking maybe a older crx but not for sure. can someone please inform me if they have a answer. thanks!

It is a typo bud, just like in the thread Ron linked. Anywho, your motor, d16a8 came from the following cars...1988–1995 Civic,CRX,Concerto (UK/Europe/Australia) 1992–1995 Rover 216, 416 GTi (UK/Europe) & 1993–1997 Rover 216 Sport Coupé (Europe)

 

as i stated in my thread its a B16A8 my car is a DOHC Vtec. im no dumbass lol. i do a lot of my own work but after a fire that i lost my garage and car. i couldnt afford to re do another one. i traded a bike for this car. and i posted plated through honda motorheads of md on fb and from our conclusion i do believe it is a b16a3 that long ago someone must have took and turned the 3 into a 8. maybe they stole it idk but the car had 5 owners before me so idk. but thanks for the help i suppose but it is a B series but im ruling its a b16a3

If you would have posted that pic to begin w/ anyone could have told you it a b16a3...you really thought that looked like a legit 8?

 

That looks like B16A3 to me too.

 

Which would mean you are in possession of stolen property.
