Default wich engine is more suitable for future upgrades

I have two choices, the first one is a B16a2 170HP JDM and the second one is a standiad B18B (LS Gs USA engine 95+). I am thinking about turbo later on... but was wondering wich engine would be better (would need less upgrade, I basically want it to stay eom internal) for the purpose. I can't afford a GSR engine now, and my choices are made money wise side...

Thanks

I'd go for the b16. What car is this going in? If you leave it stock in a heavy Integra, it wont be that quick. It'd be great in a hatch tho.

Gotta love the VTEC so B16a, but personally I would junk both ideas and get a b18c
