Default 94 civic ex problems with the oil

so i have a 94 civic ex . I have an issue with my oil. I have no idea where my oil leak is coming from or how to figure out where its coming from. SO any and all help is greatly appriciated. So the oil is visible all down the passenger side of the car. Its been dripping down my transmission for about 3 months now. Its a slow leak maybe a full court every few weeks or so. It looks like its coming out the bottom of the distributor and i could be completely wrong. I dont even know if oil is ran to the distributor at all lol. but any help to help me figure out where it could be coming from is great.

SO thanks in advance all you honda techies

not a complete noob at working on my honda. had to replace both cv joints and found out my starting problem via research on this site figure out is was my ignition coil.

I would start with the distributor o-ring, common problem and a cheap fix

Where does your distributor attach? To the head, correct? What do you think makes it spin? The cam, correct? O-ring is the seal between distributor and cam. When faulty, oil will leak.

you are correct sir. its to the top on the left hand side so yea im guessing the cam does make it spin. so thats probably my oil leak issue thanks for the help on figuring it out. and that does sound like its my issue because of where the oil is leaking. I do appreciate the help guys. Any links to a tutorial on how to replace it?

Buy new o-ring
Disconnect negative cable on batt
mark the distributor w/ a sharpie so you know where to put it back
remove the mounting bolts for dizzy and slide it off the head
remove old o-ring and insert new
re-install dizzy and line it back up with your sharpie marks.
connect negative cable

If that isn't enough, google it.
