B17a1 Vtec Pressure switch Bypass not working!!! (code 23 KS)
Ok i have a 92 integra gsr B17a1 and i just had the motor fully rebuilt back to stock oem.. Trying to keep it clean an stock sense there so rare.. Well when i got the car back an on drive home i decided that i wanted to hit vtec just for a second (New Motor) to see if it was working, well vtec didnt engage so i backed off and a couple min later the CEL came on.. Got Home an checked the CEL and got code 22 (Vtec Pressure Switch). So i did some research and found out you can bypass the switch.. So i tried bypassing it by connecting wires A4 and D6 together like shown below.. Well after everything was taped up i went for a ride and as soon as i got on the road the CEL came on again and Vtec still wouldnt engage.. Went home and now its throwing code 23(knock sensor) but no more code 22.. So i unwired everything an put it back to normal and code 23 goes away but code 22 come back.. So is the way i have it wired up right?? Am i suppose to do something with the knock sensor wire>?? Bc its highlihted in the instructions but it doesnt say to do anything with it..
Ok so i just spliced into wire D6 blue/black on the vtec pressure switch and ran it
to wire A4 green/yellow on the vtec solenoid and left both plugs plugged in.. Is this Right?? but i throw code 23 this way i thought obd1 KS didnt effect Vtec...

This is the instructions i followed.. What do i do with the knock senor wire? Why is it highlighted?

Thanks for any help!!!
