Default 2000 Honda civic d16y7 y8 head

Ok I did I y7 bottom end with y8 head it's been timed right and valve adjust ment the car ideals at 2grand the car did have a y8 bottom and there is one wire the idk were it connects its like hooked to o2 sensor wire idk if it could of been from the y8 bottom but idk and I also did a compression test came out to 150lbs so compression ratio is like 8:1-8.5:1 is this normal

150lbs across? When I did a compression test on my Y8 I wanna say it was around 140 across so you should be fine. As long as the numbers are all within 10% of each other.

Pictures of the wire? CEL?

Yes cel I'm Gunna check tonight on what comes up it comes up under intake but all wires are plugged in to intake What could cause ideal it some times bounces from 1500 to2000

Ok sry Im preety bad with that stuff but any ways I never gotta to check the check engine light yet and that wire I was talking about comes up behind intake manifold and I was asking to see what would cause an ideal problem the timing is set and good but I just clue lest

Are all the wires the same from the y7 and y8 except the vtec

Unless your car is automatic and assuming you used the P2P ECU you have to convert the IAC from 3 wire to 2 wire, did you do that? Also you have to add the wiring for the knock sensor as well.

because you don't need one on a low compression motor made to run on 87.

Also if you didn't then you'll need to wire up the IACV as well.
