What kind of turbo is this?

Default What kind of turbo is this?



Its a t3 flange, vband out. Im just wondering what the hell the clamp on the housing was for

Not sure what turbo that is, however the clamp that is on the compressor housing will allow you the clock (rotate) the housing in the needed direction of your liking.

its not going to leak from rotation is it?

As long as you tighten the clamp after rotating you will be fine. This is how many larger t4 turbo's are designed to allow for easier clocking and disassembly of the unit like the Turbonetics turbo on my retired race car in the picture below.

ebay t70 turbo... ditch it. its about as useful as a paperweight
