Default low budget 200hp

I just recently got rid of my fed h22a4. I got a 91 ef hatch and I'm trying to decide what is the best and most affordable way to get 200hp. The car at the moment has a d15b2 with an so trans. The motor has 241,000 miles on it. I have a rebuilt f22a1 5spd laying around and a h22a1 block with just rods and pistons no head or crank. Idk which direction I should take . Looking for suggestions. Swapping or building turbo car isn't a problem. Just looking for the most affordable way to hit around 200 whp.

Cheapest? You could buy an H22 Cylinder Head.... You could find a GSR motor, You could put a ZC in for pretty cheap....

It's your build, start pricing things out.

Umm....? No. You'll be at like 135 whp at best.

D16, LS rods (block notching), Vitaras, Delta cam regrind (extrememly reputable and cheap), Small snail, tune. Yeehaw.

numbers prove all. if you dont have a dyno sheet to show youre at 200 then youre guess is as good as mine. What you consider fast i may consider slow. Its all subjective and without numbers, no one will know. without a tune there is no way you were close to 200 whp on a mini me d15. Stock a d16z6 puts down like what?? 110 hp to the wheels. Mini me motors unless done with a proper tune will barely put down reliable numbers compared to a full swap.

Op, its your build do as you please. Consider things with this chassis like hood fitment with various motors and ease of installation, budget...etc. For 200 wheel hp youre cheapest bet is to buy a cheap intercooler setup, cast manifold, and a decent turbo. You will need a tune and probably injectors and a fuel pump. Keep the d15b2, put a d16a6 cam in it, mpfi swap it and run a baby turbo. Any N/A build is going to break the bank if you are looking for a budget build unless you can cram one of your h series in it and make the hood fit nicely. Id rather have a slower car if it meant it looked nicer and didnt look hacked together bc the hood is cut up or tilted but thats just me

My crx with the h22 swap had not hood fitment issues at all. Until i popped the hood nobody had a clue I had an H swap.

No need to open up the D-series block.
Stock block (if in good condition) will do just fine.
240 on a fresh block is rule of thumb before the rods start getting sketchy.

200 could probably be had with a used Greddy kit with bumped up boost, injectors, and a good tune.
