Default Engine Specs required: h23 crank in h22a block (deck height and rod ratio Q's)

I read somewhere that h22a rods were only .5mm longer that h23 rods.. is this true ???

I saw the other topic with an installed f22 crank in a h22 block not outputting enough oil presure . (is that going to be an issue?) aka true ?

how much does the piston extract from the deck height if you use a h23 crank in a h22a block, with h22a rods and pistons... (TDC)?????

what is the two rod ratios for h22a and h23????

I also know the h22a crank has 5 counterweights, how many does the h23 has???

does anybody know until what rpm the h23 crank is factory balanced for, how about the h22 one.???

does the h22a oil pump hookup to the h23 or other h series cranks ?

if my motor is a 93-95jdm h22a closed deck what is the h23 model crank that i need (from what make and year)???

has this been performed and tested???

is the h23 crank heavier and everything needs to be re-balanced???

any proven accelereated bearing wear because of this???

i have absolutely no answer to all those questions but am very interested in what some other people might have to say

No. H22a rods are 143mm, H23a Rods are 141.925mm a difference of 1.075 mm. Maybe you're thinking of the stroke which is 90.7mm for H22a nad 95.0 mm for the H23?

I saw the other topic with an installed f22 crank in a h22 block not outputting enough oil presure . (is that going to be an issue?) aka true ?
Umm how exactly? Were the oil squirters kept?

how much does the piston extract from the deck height if you use a h23 crank in a h22a block, with h22a rods and pistons... (TDC)?????
well you have 1.075mm on the rod and 4.7mm on the stroke. Unfortunately I don't know piston specs...but if you assume the H23 and H22 standard setups would have the same stock height you could interpolate them

what is the two rod ratios for h22a and h23????
H22a = 1.58, H23a=1.49

does anybody know until what rpm the h23 crank is factory balanced for, how about the h22 one.???
Factory balanced...I would say 7000 and 8000 respectively, not too much above the rev limiter, but it's more the whole block pistons/rods that are weak for higher rpms

does the h22a oil pump hookup to the h23 or other h series cranks ?
What other H-series cranks are you speaking of? As far as I know they hook up fine. The blocks are essentially the same, H23 block even has spots for the oil squirters and doesn't need to be tapped/drilled like the LS/VTEC

if my motor is a 93-95jdm h22a closed deck what is the h23 model crank that i need (from what make and year)???
Can't confirm but I think any H23 crank will do here....

has this been performed and tested???
I don't recommend the H23 crank/rods/pistons in an H22 block. I have seen it tested with bad results...possibly it was a bad bore/hone job, but the engine created mad blow-by and burnt oil like a ****. The engine was rebuilt with a sleeved H23 Block and is now in my car. 7000 miles and no oil loss

is the h23 crank heavier and everything needs to be re-balanced???
Lighten and balance it, you can't go wrong doing that. Get a reputable shop to do the work.

any proven accelereated bearing wear because of this???
I don't think anyone has proof. But if you were to take the H23 crank etc and rev it up to 8000 regularly, even with everything upgraded, the rod angularity and speeds will wear more than a stock setup with a lower rev limiter.
