J's Racing Rear Pillar Bar for EK installed (Pic)
Check my Sig. on where I got them from!!
The price on the rear pillar bar is $145usd.
I can definitely feel the increase in stiffness of the chassis, the bar definitely work. But the
would be the rear passengers would have some BIG problem.
I am sorry, that is the only picture I have now.

I bet that helps alot when you are racing the car....and that sub box helps alot too.
You obviously have a problem with his stereo, he should take it out right now so he can get your approval.
You obviously have no sense of humor (<-- Sarcasm...) He should ditch the stereo for MY approval. (<-- Once again, sarcasm)
mayfay2,
does the bar obstruct your view when using your rear view mirror? seems like it would be right in the middle when you look back.

I can't "feel the increase in stiffness of the chassis", and I race my car.
My mechanical engineering friend also concur that bracing the c pillar at that location (between rear seatbelt bolts) won't do much to increase rigidity. However, it will help DC Integras, moreso than EK Civics.
Go figure.

I have a similar bar, but better. Solid, one piece design without any hinges.

That huge opening on the CRX/DC allows a lot of flex. Civic EF/EG/EK HB models don't have the same problem.
Nice Jumper Cables, if you'd ditch the stereo, your battery wouldn't have as many problems.
Where exactly does the bar bolt to?
does anyone know if there are other brands/generic bars made for the EG? where can you find them at? so far ive only seen that j's bar
Another metal object for someone to hit their head on...
