Default 2001 Accord EX Hesitation while driving

HI all I am new to this forum, so let me tell you real quick about my car and the issue I am having. I have a 01 accord EX it has 90k on it, 3 months ago we had the trans rebuilt. Few weeks ago I replaced the plugs, cap, and rotor. This car has had NO major repairs or issues.

The Issue:
About a month or so ago I started to notice a very quick happening hesitation while driving the car. It only happens when I am applying steady constant pressure to the gas pedal with the RPMS around 2-2.5k while I am driving on the road. It almost feels like someone is grabbing the car and applying resistance to it for a split second. As a side note it was happening before I replaced the plugs, cap, and rotor so I feel it is something else. The CEL light is not on nore has it been in a long time. It does not do it at idle what so everJust when I am driving down the road with steady preasure on the gas pedal. If I left off the gas or stomp on it I get no hesitation or delay.

Just one thing the rpm of the car does not change when I feel the hesitation happening.

I sure hope you all can help, cause I am at a loss.

When you had trans rebuilt did they reuse shift solenoids? Maybe one is sticking? Could also be fuel intake related. Try some Seafoam.

This sounds EGR related. You could check for codes even though the check engine light isn't on it could still have a code stored.
