well, im planing to get some Skunk 2 stage 1 cams and im wondering if an itr exhaust would work well with that set up. I currently have 2.5 piping with a trust exhaust but i want to make my car quiet and sleeper. Will i lose power if i switch to itr exhaust. Is it worth it. My mods are CAI (soon to be ICEBOX), dc 4-2-1 headers, Carsound cat, cam gears, vtec controller, and 2.5 trust exhaust.

 

If you want sleeper, get a magnaflow muffler and add a resonator or two.

 

Also, keep the 2.5 piping you have and just modify it.

 

i'm running a greddy pe exaust piping w/ itr muffler. i felt no power loss, and car looks bone stock with it. sleepers

 

what kind of magnaflow muffler do u guys recommend? any pictures?

 

Dont go back to 2.25 piping, keep your current 2.5 inch piping, and just use a stock looking muffler like Apex-i World Sport or ES oval or whatever.

 

Or...I have an Apex Dunk for sale....

i have 2001 itr cams with itr cat back. i took out the cat and had a test pipe done and its quiet. felt pretty good gains. the only time its loud is when vtec rips! haha
