Transmission? Engine mount?
Today I bought an Acura TL 1999.
When I test drove it, the car shook a little bit when I pressed the brakes. The seller told me it's an engine mount and brake problem.
While I was driving home on the highway, the car shook and rattled a lot, as if a tire had burst whenever I stepped on the brakes. I had to hold onto the steering wheel tightly because of the intense rattling.
What kind of problem is this? Brakes? Engine mount? Transmission?
There are no problems when accelerating, only when I press the brake pedal. No grinding noises either.
Thanks guys!
