Im having a little issue with my 4 door. I swapped a 95 ex z6 bottom and i have a y8 head. I searched up on how to put it on timing and i was told the block had to be advanced due to the y8 head's cam shaft and cam gear being different. Well today i wad in second gear at 5 grand and it was sputering really bad. So when i stopped i had a few friends look at it and they told me it was off timing. So what im asking is can some one please tell me the correct way to put this set up on timing it would be greatly appreciated. Im also running a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness with a stock p28.

 

Anyone know anything about this??

Running a stock p28 your ignition timing is going to be off a little.

 

@hondapartshero that helps but i know that part already. Im confused on the blocks timing because the crank shaft pulley of a z6 has marks on it. So i wondering whats TDC for the block?

 

@evil i thought the same thing but wasnt sure.
