car wont start....unless i put lots of play on the clutch cable and....
car wont start if i adjust the clutch cable properly....i have to put lots of play on the cable and pressing the pedal down real hard to get it to start....and to drive it....i adjust the cable properly when the CAR IS ON ALREADY and it will drive perfectlyfine..but wheni turn itoff i have to do the same thing again.......why is this?

clutch switch. check that, it's down near the clutch pedal.
i had to have my clutch switch bypassed because i had the same problem. it woudln't start unless i put ALL my strength into the clutch foot.

yeah its the switch if it wont turn over, its the clutch cable if it turns over but tries to lunge the car. checkout the manuals if you're not sure how to mess with it, links on my sig

if im not mistaken, there's a connection/wire near the tranny, its for the clutch, see if thats intact. Mines was giving the same problem, i had to secure the wire properly.
