Just rotated my tires and my steering wheel shakes now...
I just rotated my tires and now when i'm on the highway and get above about 70 MPH my steering wheel starts to kind of shake or vibrate and the "feel" of the steering gets sloppy and too light. i've thought that maybe i over-tightened my lugs or maybe i need to get my tires balanced again or something. also, this pic is of my LEFT REAR rim...about 6 months ago i had a little excitement fishtailing into a curb... if i do need to get my tires balanced do you guys think they can still hang the weights on this rim the way it is? what do you guys think is wrong with my steering? oh, and it kind of tracks to the left on the highway too.

i can't see the pic but i'd guess that a rim is either bent or out of balance. maybe you lost a wheel weight.
ok, i think i fixed the pic...sorry about that. and no, i don't have directional tires. i have the crappy stocker michelins.
I think you might have some uneven tire wear that's causing your steering to shake.... get them balanced and see if it helps....

take it to a tire shop and tell them your concerns... they can check out the rim/tire for you and probably will do a rebalance..it shouldn't cost that much..
Could be a bent rim since you moved that bunged up one to the front. What kind of wheels are those btw
they're the '96 GSR 6-spoke rims....and the shitty wheel is on the left rear corner. i loosened and re-torqued all my lugs and now it's a LOT better. still might get em balanced though. we'll see.
First off, get that rim fixed. Any good wheel shop should be able to weld up and turn down that mess on your rim or bend it back into shape if it is bent. Not only does it make your car look ghetto, but it throws your balance off and prematurely wears your tires as well. Then get each tire balanced. I always do a 4 wheel thrust alignment whenever I rotate my tires just for good measure, but its not neccesary. Though it is good practice to do it if you hit a curb.
