11'? That is a hell of a rotor.
On a serious note, bolt on for what car?

There are guys who say that they have done it, but I have not found the right rotor to use yet. There are 276mm rotors (too small), and 294mm rotors (too big), but I have not found a 280-282mm rotor that works yet.

Supposedly the base Cooper, 2007+ is the right rotor, but I cannot confirm. The ones that I was given were 276s, and not as good a fit as a re-drilled Prelude rotor.

Given the cost difference - redrilling rotors, and machining caliper brackets, I still am going for the Honda ones.

the base cooper (coupe) has the 280mm rotors. the base convertible has 276.

That is what I thought, and why I started to do that. The rotor that I was given by the MINI dealer was only 276mm.

I will look into the aftermarket 280s, as I do think they would be easier to use.

Thanks,

Considering it's eleven feet, I don't think you will.

I keep hearing that there are mercury cougar 4x100 rotors 11.2 inch that work better. However I have searched and cannot find any part number or even a year of that car. I know the g60 rotors work but you need a hub centric ring. I have been looking at doing an oem big brake upgrade, but I have a 96 sedan lx. I cant get straight information on anything. I have read the brake experts thread, but I keep hearing about the cougar rotors that are the better fitment. Just cant find them, if you have any luck let me know.
