Default B18c type r swap into em1

After coming to the decision of not rebuilding my b16 on the fact that i kept getting advice to ditch it and go for the higher torque higher power B18 i thought why not go ***** to the wall and get the biggest one you can get! Only problem is it seems like either im retarded and cant find **** all on things that i have to buy on top of just the full swap for the engine. Just wondering if i could get some advice and pointed in the right direction? Thanks in a advance guys

Got a B18C to put in mine as well.

Need B16 shift linkage, all the 120k maintenance stuff, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, clutch, you need 2 mounts from the B18 and 1 from the Del Sol from what I can remember.

There are a TON of threads and write-up's specifically on this swap, I'll see if I can dig them up.

I'm sure the other smarter people will chime in soon and do you right.

He has an EM1, meaning the car already "has" a B series engine from factory. The OP already has a b series shift linkage, and mounts that can swap off of the B16 the car came with

Yeah just wondering whats diffrent that i need for the swap besides diffrent axles because ITR is 36 mm going to 5 stud hubs and my em1 is like 32 mm going to 4 stud, just wondering if anyone has a link to a complete swap forum that kinda includes the list of stuff like if there are a few diffrentsensors are diffrent or whatnot

Not sure about the EM1, is it LSD?

I run the LSD B16 tranny on my H2b and the gearing is super short, awesome for acceleration, crap for gas mileage with the H22 ...

b18cr is not the biggest, actually smaller displacement than a ls.

Every time I order from JHP they take 3 months to get me my stuff.

One time it was a traction bar for my prelude, another time it was blox adjustable toe and camber kit for my EG ... I try to avoid them from now on ...
