Accord 1990 Tap into brake light wire
Homade Added Car Security
Parts Needed:
1. On & Off Switch ($4.30 RadioShack)
2. Extra Car Horn ($5 Junker)
3. About 20 Feet of Gague 16 or 18 Cable ($5 Car Audio Shop)
What I did:
Unplugged the car Baterry
Remove the Rug/cardboard that is ontop of the 3rd brake light allso remove dthe 2 back speakers.
Remove the 2 nuits on the bottom of the 3rd Brake Housing and lift it up.
Unplug the 3rd brake light wires, now cut the plug off the brake light and slice the 2 ends of the red and black wire.
Twist them back together adding the new cable in the procress then add black tape.
Mount the horn inside the back bumper i used straps to hold it in place
run the negative wire all the way to the horn along side the trim making shure you cover up all the wire
Now Before you run the positive wire to the horn ADD the on off switch hidden somewhere.
*note* if needed drill a hole from the trunk floor to run the wires to the bumper so you can hide it better.
Now make shure all your trim is on and you place the speakers and rug back on!
How to use:
Every time you get out of the car trow the switch on and when someone presses the Brake Pedal the horn will blow atracting attention from others!

Anyone know how to make the front horn blow when the doors open and not turn off when the dome light goes off? i tryed wiring it to the dome light and it turns off instently so im thinking i need a relay or something

Seriously..... If you want to do stuff like this it would be in your best interest to learn a thing or two about electrical circuits and relays.
